Dead in the Water - The Sinking of the USS Liberty
Israel attacked and nearly sank the USS Liberty belonging to its
closest ally, the USA. Thirty-four American servicemen were killed in
the two-hour assault by Israeli warplanes and torpedo boats. Israel
