Media barred from drug lord’s funeral

MOURNERS have gathered at Lakemba Mosque for the funeral of crime boss Abdul Qadier Darwiche, who was shot dead at a service station in Sydney’s southwest on Saturday.
A heavy police presence was in place for Darwiche’s funeral, with media kept at bay at the request of the family.
